Katie (Registered Mental Health Intern #20734) has always had a passion and a talent for assisting others through their challenges and became a psychotherapist to fulfill this passion! She views it as an honor and a privilege to be part of her clients process as they navigate their journey in healing, self-discovery, achieving their goals and taking control of their narrative.

Katie deeply respects that it can take bravery to make that first appointment; therefore, she is fierce about fostering a safe, respectful, patient, and sacred space for clients to share and build a therapeutic relationship.

Katie works with all ages from 11yrs old through seniors. Using creative tools and skills, Katie is adept in assisting clients to navigate all aspects of trauma, anxiety, depression regardless of their root causes.

In addition to the above her areas of expertise include LGBTQIA+, Transgender/Gender Identity issues, Coming Out, and The Journey of Transitioning. Katie’s intimate knowledge of the journey through transition enables her to bring a depth of clarity and understanding in her sessions with the transgender and gender-expansive community.

Katie graduated with her Master of Arts in Counseling from Saybrook University and is currently working on her PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision, also at Saybrook University.

Katie practices self-care with a variety of hobbies that include archery, machine sewing and embroidery, chain maille, photography and videography, and German folk dancing (Schuhplattler).
