Jeanna Thomas B.A., CSTP

Graduate-Level Therapist Intern.

Certified Neuropsychology Coach.

Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner.

Areas of Speciality include Neurofeedback, complex trauma (CPTSD), anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and schizoaffective disorder.

Jeanna (Graduate-Level Therapist Intern) is passionate about creating a sacred, judgement-free space. She knows how difficult life can be when you make all of your own plans and life throws its own chaos into the mix in areas that can be very challenging to speak about. Thus, Jeanna welcomes her clients to bring all their fears, shame, and messiness into the session room so they can know that hope is just a breath away while helping them discover what healing, growth, and freedom look like for them.

Jeanna’s areas of concentration are complex trauma (CPTSD), anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and schizoaffective disorder. She particularly deeply understands substance use, abuse, and addiction (and the difference between the three) from lived experience and how all of these are often related to anxiety and depression. As well, having a loved one with schizoaffective disorder has also given her a meaningful connection and genuine appreciation for both individuals living with these experiences and the people who love and support them.

Jeanna is a Certified Neuropsychology Coach and Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner, (soon to be a Neurofeedback practitioner) which all intersect with neuroscience, nervous-system regulation, mindfulness, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and emotional regulation. She enjoys integrating traditional therapeutic approaches with these mindfulness mind-body practices to support healing, growth, grounding, and relaxation.

Jeanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Post University and is in her last steps in completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University.

Jeanna’s critical self-care and love are being near the water and nature, playing the ukulele, and singing. Music and creativity influence the warmth she brings into her sessions. She values authenticity, meaningful connection, and finding moments of peace and joy in everyday life, then sharing those qualities with those around her.
